My little piece of "home."
I've recently set up this space in my little corner of the room I share with my family, next to my side of the air mattress. My wool felt rug and my small crate book shelf. One day I will have my own nest, unit then, my corner makes me smile.
I did this a lot growing up, even when I had my own bedroom. I still do it, though not as obviously as I used to, by trying to have my nightstand "just so" with everything I could possibly want (usually books) right within reach.
